You will experience two of Tanzania's most iconic wildlife destinations in one short, action-packed safari.
This sharing safari starts from Arusha and takes you to Tarangire National Park, famous for giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, then continues to the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where one of Africa's highest wildlife concentrations exists.
You will travel in a 4x4 safari jeep with a pop-up roof for incredible views and photography, with a professional English-speaking safari guide leading you. You can expect classic game drives, scenic picnic lunches in the bush, and unforgettable sightings across dramatic landscapes.
Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Pick up from Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park.
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives across baobab-studded plains and river habitats, with chances to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and rich birdlife. Enjoy a scenic bush lunch inside the park. Later, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight in Karatu.
Day 2: Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, head to Ngorongoro and descend into the crater for a full-day game drive.
Look out for lions, elephants, buffalo, black rhinoceros, zebras, flamingos, and more, surrounded by breathtaking crater landscapes. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor, then ascend and return to Arusha for drop-off.
